Why not, right?

I initially started this blog so I could follow my bfff Jordan's blog (http://jlaudad.blogspot.com/) but now I am thinking it might be a good idea to create a space where I can bitch about dieting and all of the crazy things that go along with it...

Here's the deal...about 5 months ago I decided I was going to stop being lazy cow and train for a dance audition set to take place in mid-August. The pre-reqs for the audition are that you look hot in a half-top, booty shorts and go-go boots (just to clarify, I'm not auditioning to be a stripper, promise).  Being a decent dancer is probably important too. I've got the dancing down, been droppin' it like it's hot since I was a tiny fetus but I need some help getting my bod tight like a tiger.

To help me with the half-top/booty shorts aspect I called on Seanna, my step-mom and number one fitness coach.  Seanna hooked me up with her bff Jodi who is a fitness and nutrition expert. She has helped dozens of women transform their bodies into lean sass-machines.

I fully trusted Jodi and began her intense progam in mid-January of this year. Later I'll get in to the details of my training program but basically Jodi has me on a pretty tight diet and in the gym 5 days a week.  At first I was crazy dedicated, didn't stray from the plan by even 1 calorie...the dedication has worn off a bit and I am finding it hard to tame my inner party girl.

I am single, 22 year old lady living in a fabulous metropolitan city. My idea of fun is binge drinking, dance parties and Taco Bell. Unfortunately the drinking and TB don't fit into to Jodi's workout plan...

This blog will cover my inner struggles as I work to attain my fitness & nutrition goals while maintaining my party girl lifestyle.
